About the Event
Join us for our annual vacation bible school week. The theme for VBS this year is "Bird Tales."
Date: From Monday (Aug. 1st) to Friday (Aug. 5th), 6:00-8:30pm (Family dinner served 6:00-6:30.)
Ages: 3-10 years old. (Children under 3 welcome with an adult.)
Our Vacation Bible School will begin with a catered family meal each evening at 6pm. Following supper, at 6:30pm, we will step into the fascinating world of birds in our "Bird Tales" program where we will discover some lasting truths about the endless love of Jesus. Each night the Bible lesson is introduced with a different part of a bird's life. We will sing songs of praise, learn interesting bird facts at the "bird watcher" station, memorize Bible verses as well as enjoy a time of recreation outdoors playing games and creating sidewalk art. We'll beat the summer heat with an icy treat each evening and have a special mid-week visit of live birds including an owl, parrot, and even a kookaburra. Saturday at 11am we will have our closing program followed by a fellowship lunch. Parent resources will be shared at the closing each night to encourage families in their effort to lead their children into a relationship with Jesus. We have prepared a wonderful week for our community and look forward to meeting you there!

- Monday - Burrito bowls and tacos
- Tuesday - Baked potato bar and salad
- Wednesday - Spaghetti, breadsticks and salad
- Thursday - Black bean burgers, macaroni w cheese, celery and carrots
- Friday - Pizza and salad
